About me and Comms For Good

Hi, I'm Karen Bunston - a Chartered Marketer with over 30 years’ experience helping charities and non-profits raise funds, engage more people, grow their profile and tell their stories with confidence. 


I started Comms For Good because I believe every non-profit organisation deserves to be seen and heard, no matter their size or budget.


I’ve worked on both sides of the sector - as a charity and Local Authority manager, and as a commissioner and fundraiser - and I’ve reported to Sure Start, Ofsted, Local Authorities, the NHS, Healthwatch England, Sports England and major and small grant-making organisations.  


I know exactly what decision-makers look for and how to present your impact clearly, credibly and compliantly.  My aim is simple: to help you share the difference you make in a way that inspires support and builds trust.
